Our Amazing Team

Office Manager

I grew up in Littleton, CO but am originally from Iowa. I have been with my husband for the past 40 years and together we have two children, a boy, and a girl. Both are now grown and have families of their own.

We also have three amazing grandchildren and another on the way. Grandkids are the greatest gift in the world!

The greatest gift is the gift of giving and I have always felt that if you could make someone happy in a place they don’t want to be, doing something that they don’t really want to be doing you are giving an amazing gift. Over the course of my dental career (39 yrs) this gift has only grown!

The best part of my job is helping others. Educating them about their oral health. When you stay at one office has long as I have (over 15 yrs at Belmar Park Dental) the patients become an extension of your family, you look forward to seeing them, you’re sad when they are sad and you’re excited for them when they are rejoicing.

At Belmar Park Dental Care our motto is “to take the very best care of our patient”. I am lucky enough to work with doctors that have given me the freedom to help our patients in whatever need, and in doing that it fills my soul!

“Happiness is an emotion but joy is a state of being!”

I cherish the peace and quite we enjoy due to living away from the city. We get to enjoy morning coffee with local wildlife and sunsets, life is good! We share our property with dogs, chickens and all the beautiful birds that also enjoy our area.

My grandkids are my world. I love being their Grammie! I also enjoy gardening, reading, rowing and hiking. I love to drive, which means I also love to drive fast cars! Baseball is my favorite sport, I love that it is a team sport but also a one-on-one sport.

My hero is Jesus. He makes me always want to be a better person tomorrow than I was today.

I am originally from northern Ohio and have been in the dental administrative field for over 20 years. I enjoy building relationships with our patients and helping to make their visits welcoming.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, walking, and live theatre.

I like to spend my summers outdoors hiking, camping, enjoying bonfires, gardening, and exploring new areas with my significant other Ben, and our 5 dogs.

I graduated in 2017 with a degree in animal sciences. I enjoy spending my free time working as a relief certified veterinary technician, and pet/house sitting.

My family is important to me and my niece is the light of my life. I enjoy going to comedy clubs, but most nights you will find me at home spending time with my pets! I’m a true crime aficionado!

Things I love to do outside of work: I love being outside to camp, hike, paddle board, and go to concerts. I really enjoy taking advantage of everything Colorado has to offer!

I am originally from Colorado and moved back from Texas a year ago. I have 3 amazing kids, my oldest Ryan, owns his own business, and both my girls go to Oklahoma State University.

Last fall, I rescued an adorable border terrier mix named Mar who keeps me very busy. I enjoy just about everything outdoors especially if it’s in the mountains.

Dental Hygienist

I started in dentistry in 1998 as a sterile tech and quickly moved up to assisting and then on to doing expanded duties assisting. After volunteering abroad in 2004 and 2005, I decided to take the next step in my career and apply for dental hygiene school.

I attended Community College of Denver’s Dental Hygiene program from 2007 to 2009 and graduated with honors. Before I graduated I decided that I wanted to work for a funny dentist who not only does excellent work, but also treats his patients and team with respect, and is close to my home so I could run to work when the weather is nice. Someone must have been listening to my plan, because I quickly landed here at Belmar Park Dental Care in June 2009. I found all of those features in this office and more. I love my job and the people I work with, and plan to stay here until I retire!

My special training includes being part of Fortune Management’s Dental Hygiene Mastery program which gives the team and I specialized training in bringing our patients the most up-to-date dentistry. This program has also taught us how to take the very best care of our patients. I feel very privileged to be a part of this program! In 2013 I received my advanced laser proficiency certification from the Academy of Laser Dentistry and I continue to learn more about how to take the best care of my patients with lasers. I also teach laser technology to other dental professionals on a regular basis.

I spend my spare time doing things with my son, enjoying any outdoor activity and running races! My son and I love to camp, hike and we visit parks frequently along with lots of swimming and paddleboarding. This summer we plan to golf and get into archery!

Dental Hygienist

I came to Denver 39 years ago from South Dakota after graduating from college. I graduated from Carroll College in 1983 with a BA in Social Work, I worked with the elder population and Alzheimers for 6 years.

I decided to make a huge career change and went back to school and got my BS from CU Boulder in 1993 and went into Dental Hygiene… The best decision ever!!

I love being a dental hygienist, I am still passionate about my career. I love the daily interaction with my patients, building relationships and trust and having great rapport with them.

It is so important to make sure my patients are well educated and their dental needs are met every visit.

When I am not at work I love to travel, ski, and entertain. I also love dogs.

Dental Assistant

I moved to Colorado 7 years ago looking for a change. I grew up in a small town from Kansas and lived in Tulsa, OK for 14 years before moving to Colorado. I love to travel and spend time with family and friends. I also love taking new adventures in life.

I chose dentistry because I needed a change in my life and it was the perfect fit for me! Learning new things everyday and taking care of people is a great thing to do!

I love the people that I get to work with and the challenges that I get to face. I get to challenge myself with new technology everyday.

Working out to have a healthier life has become a new passion of mine. I like hanging out with friends after work to laugh and have a good time. I do have a little bit of a travel bug, and try to travel whenever I can. I would love to travel the world and have an adventurous life.

Dental Assistant

I moved to Lakewood in July but I am originally from a small town called Burlington.  I then moved to Kansas for school for 2 years!

I hope to pursue my career in dental and go back to school for hygiene! I always knew I wanted my career to be in dental to help people feel happy and healthy with their smiles!

I love growing and teaching patients how to maintain good proper health care while feeling confident about themselves.

I love spending time with my crazy golden retriever Honey, and of course moved to Colorado for the beautiful mountains and everything that comes with them.

I love to stay active go hiking and keep up with the gym. I come from a beautiful supportive family who have helped me become the person I am today.

Dental Assistant

I am originally from Colorado but grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah.  I have over 15 years of experience in the dental industry and I truly love what I do.

My passions in life include my two beautiful daughters and my two handsome and amazing sons.

I absolutely love the outdoors here in Colorado and everything they have to offer.

I especially enjoy, fishing, hiking, kayaking, concerts, and my new endeavor CrossFit!

‘‘When it comes to dentist visits I am a certified dentophobic, but the entire team at Belmar Park Dental Care make the experience easy (almost even enjoyable). They have gotten me back in the game with routine visits and proper care. Special shout out to hygienist Rachael for doing such a great pain free job!’’
