Our Amazing Team

Lisa

Office Manager

BACKGROUND

I grew up in Littleton, CO but am originally from Iowa. I have been with my husband for the past 40 years and together we have two children, a boy, and a girl. Both are now grown and have families of their own.

We also have three amazing grandchildren and another on the way. Grandkids are the greatest gift in the world!

The greatest gift is the gift of giving and I have always felt that if you could make someone happy in a place they don’t want to be, doing something that they don’t really want to be doing you are giving an amazing gift. Over the course of my dental career (39 yrs) this gift has only grown!

The best part of my job is helping others. Educating them about their oral health. When you stay at one office has long as I have (over 15 yrs at Belmar Park Dental) the patients become an extension of your family, you look forward to seeing them, you’re sad when they are sad and you’re excited for them when they are rejoicing.

At Belmar Park Dental Care our motto is “to take the very best care of our patient”. I am lucky enough to work with doctors that have given me the freedom to help our patients in whatever need, and in doing that it fills my soul!

OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE

I cherish the peace and quite we enjoy due to living away from the city. We get to enjoy morning coffee with local wildlife and sunsets, life is good! We share our property with dogs, chickens and all the beautiful birds that also enjoy our area.

My grandkids are my world. I love being their Grammie! I also enjoy gardening, reading, rowing and hiking. I love to drive, which means I also love to drive fast cars! Baseball is my favorite sport, I love that it is a team sport but also a one-on-one sport.

My hero is Jesus. He makes me always want to be a better person tomorrow than I was today.

ADMINISTRATION

BACKGROUND

I grew up in Minnesota and have always appreciated the strong sense of community and connection that shaped my early years. Today, my husband and I call Pine, Colorado home, where we enjoy the beauty of the outdoors and an active lifestyle. In our free time, you’ll often find us hiking local trails, dancing, or spending time serving others through our church. We value building meaningful relationships and being part of a supportive, welcoming community.

I chose dentistry after discovering a passion for helping people feel confident in their smiles and comfortable in a healthcare setting. I began my career in my mid-twenties as a dental assistant, where I gained hands-on experience and developed a strong appreciation for patient care. Over time, I transitioned into the administrative side of the practice, allowing me to support both patients and the team in a different but equally meaningful way. My background in both clinical and administrative roles gives me a well-rounded perspective and a deep commitment to creating a positive experience for every patient.

The best part of my job is helping people better understand their dental insurance and, more importantly, the value of the care they receive. I enjoy guiding patients through the details so they feel informed and confident in their decisions, while also emphasizing the importance of maintaining their oral health.

I believe my willingness to help wherever needed adds the most value to the office.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking local trails and staying active through dancing. I also value quality time with family and friends, whether it’s gathering together or simply enjoying each other’s company. When I’m at home, I like working on projects around the house and finding ways to create a comfortable, welcoming space.

One item on my bucket list is to continue learning and spend more time creating art. Having the opportunity to grow creatively and invest in the things I’m passionate about would be incredibly rewarding.

Heather

Dental Hygienist

BACKGROUND

I started in dentistry in 1998 as a sterile tech and quickly moved up to assisting and then on to doing expanded duties assisting. After volunteering abroad in 2004 and 2005, I decided to take the next step in my career and apply for dental hygiene school.

I attended Community College of Denver’s Dental Hygiene program from 2007 to 2009 and graduated with honors. Before I graduated I decided that I wanted to work for a funny dentist who not only does excellent work, but also treats his patients and team with respect, and is close to my home so I could run to work when the weather is nice. Someone must have been listening to my plan, because I quickly landed here at Belmar Park Dental Care in June 2009. I found all of those features in this office and more. I love my job and the people I work with, and plan to stay here until I retire!

My special training includes being part of Fortune Management’s Dental Hygiene Mastery program which gives the team and I specialized training in bringing our patients the most up-to-date dentistry. This program has also taught us how to take the very best care of our patients. I feel very privileged to be a part of this program! In 2013 I received my advanced laser proficiency certification from the Academy of Laser Dentistry and I continue to learn more about how to take the best care of my patients with lasers. I also teach laser technology to other dental professionals on a regular basis.

OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE

I spend my spare time doing things with my son, enjoying any outdoor activity and running races! My son and I love to camp, hike and we visit parks frequently along with lots of swimming and paddleboarding. This summer we plan to golf and get into archery!

BACKGROUND

I was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado. I am 33 and expecting my first child, a baby boy. My husband, Bryan, and I are so excited. I have two younger sisters, and we are a very close family. We visit my mom in Littleton every weekend. My husband and I got married in Cape Cod in 2020 and have been together since our junior year in college, where we met at CU Boulder. We have two bengal cats, They are the light of our world at the moment.

I chose to pursue a career in dentistry at a very young age- I’ve always had my mind set on working in this field for many reasons. One, I love working with my hands and keeping my tactile sense strong. Two, I have a passion for helping and caring for people, especially in relation to their overall health and well-being. Lastly, I’ve always been aware that dentistry is one of those subjects that can bring about high emotions among most people, and I wanted to be able to make a positive, life-long impact on helping patients shift their mindset and lessen their trepidations so that they can feel safe and cared for in every way when they visit the dentist.

The best part of my job is connecting with humans from all walks of life who each have something special to offer- as well as making a true difference in their overall health and helping people achieve their goals in order to wear their smile confidently.

My compassion, caring, and non-judgemental nature I believe brings a lot of value to the office as I truly do want to help people live a healthy life and help lessen or diminish their fears as it relates to the dentist. I want all our patients to feel heard, safe, and cared for every step of the way

OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE

I enjoy hot yoga and indoor rock climbing. I absolutely love spending time w/ my family, my cats, and my adorable nieces. Also enjoy true crime, documentaries, and anything dental-forensic related.

My father is my hero. He inspired me to work in healthcare, and he is the hardest-working, gregarious, and funniest person I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. He inspires me to be the best version of myself day in and day out, to live in the moment, and to always make memories; life is precious.

I was a competitive USAG gymnast for most of my life, competing all-around at each meet. I won my level 7 state championship in Colorado. Made it to regionals during my time at CU, and made my high school hall of fame for breaking previous records.

Mindy

Treatment Coordinator

BACKGROUND

I’m from a small town in Ohio and moved to CO in 1994. I miss the small town vibes, but LOVE the weather here. I have 3 kiddos: a daughter, and 2 sons who are my entire world. They have personality for DAYS, and we love laughing and having fun. Laughter really is the best medicine.

I’ve been in dentistry for 17 years, and I chose this field because I needed a stable career and I thrive on helping people. I love making those connections with our patients and helping ease their anxiety, answer questions, and maybe have a little fun in a place they don’t want to be.

The best part of the job truly is our amazing team and helping our patients become a healthier version of themselves. After all, oral health is the gateway to your overall health.

OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE

When I’m not working, I’m hanging with my kiddos or training in the gym. I compete in bodybuilding and volunteer for a Domestic Violence organization. I’m also a Personal Trainer and Online Health and Fitness Coach. I definitely keep busy and have a hard time sitting still.
